What You Need
Getting down payment assistance for your mortgage has never been easier. To get started, complete a HUD-certified homebuyer course, complete the down payment assistance form, and provide the required documentation.
Homeownership Counseling offers a personalized work plan to help you with your home buying goals. One-on-one comprehensive counseling gives participants an individualized budget and credit counseling sessions. The goal of counseling is to help you address and remove barriers to homeownership.
Click here to start the HUD-certified homebuyer course. You can take our LUL Partner easy-to-use online course on your laptop, desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone. This course will teach you how to save, buy, and maintain a new home. After completion, you will be able to print your certificate or send it to your email.
DPA applications can be started after the completion of the HUD-certified homebuyer course. Information regarding your finances, household income, credit score and uploading supporting documents will be required. There may also be additional information requested once your application is completed and submitted.
Once you submit your DPA application, our team will review it to determine your eligibility for the program. If you are eligible, you will receive a grant for your down payment.
